Morning mist on our lake after last years storm
What could be better than sitting in a deck chair drinking coffee and chatting with the gals???

It's still Thursday and I'm getting this done!!

Okay, so last week was a bust for me. I feel like I lost two weeks that I won't get back.

I haven't taken any photo's around town, but I did take a photo of the boys before the time change. (I meant to add this when I originally posted, but I was on the laptop and the photo's are all on the dinosaur.) It is just crazy that W has to catch the bus sooo early in the morning. We have to make special preparations for the daily trip to the end of the driveway....headlights...

So, H is doing great. I think his head stitches are starting to itch, so that must be good. His tummy incision was right through the old incision, so it feels harder than the last times. I get why she did that. If she hadn't, he'd look like a pin cushion eventually. But the down side is they hurt a little more that way. And, the best news for him....2 weeks post op, so he got his first bath. He was sooo happy.

W and his pack did a very good job with the Veteran's Day flag ceremony Tuesday. We were lucky and the weather wasn't too horrible. Just between a light wind and a stiff breeze while misting heavily, so pretty normal for here.

W had his 3rd wrestling practice tonight. He really seems to like it. D says he needs to get a little more aggressive. Right now he just lets the other guy do whatever they are practicing without even making him work at it. It's a little difficult for him right now. He hasn't done this before and being big for his age anyway, he's either mismatched size wise or skill wise. It was kind of funny watching him just pack the coaches boy around like a little rag doll and not be able to pin him.

D had his interview with the county yesterday. Now we just have to wait and see what they thought. It sounds like the only thing that may hurt him is that all of the heavy machinery that he's worked on floats and doesn't have wheels and brakes. And of course we don't know about the good ol' boy factor, but do you ever?? We know one person and a relative knows another, so maybe, but maybe not. So, more good juju our way.

I think I'm starting to get over my cold finally. I think H brought a bug home from the hospital and passed it to me. We had him at W's first wrestling practice last week. I'm guessing it's whatever he brought back with him...but D fixed dinner that night, so who knows, just kidding. Anyway, H decided to throw up all over me right in front of everyone. I think that may have just been because it was so warm and he still wasn't up to par. But he did have the snotty nose most of the week and now I have a cold. I just hate it when I get that cough that make it feel like someone ran sandpaper through my ears.

So, our last little storm is over and the wx is supposed to be good through the weekend. Yippee. Time to tan.

Hope everyone has a good week.
