Well, the day is pretty much over. Awesome. After I finish here, I may go have a glass of Port.
We have had a fairly uneventful week.
H made it to speech last Friday for the first time in awhile. I think he would have rather napped, but we managed to wake him for a decent session. Tuesday H made it to the toddler group. He is growing up so much. He was doing an awesome job of sharing. (Oh, and by the way, I had to drive through slush to get there!!) Tomorrow we head up the river for his unnecessary quarterly eye exam that we have been rescheduling for the last 3 months. Maybe she will decide he can just come up annually and we can make it a summer trip. And then next week he has his ESD evaluation. Good juju that he still qualifies. Then he can start going to the grade school for a couple hours 2-4 times a week...on the bus if we are brave.
W seems to be enjoying his relaxed schedule now that wrestling is over. He is down to just scouts once a week. (I won't lie, I'm glad to be back down to scrambling to get dinner out of the way by 5 just once a week.) Friday his grade performed at the school assembly. H and I went to watch. He did an awesome job. I wasn't terribly impressed with the performance. They had photo's of MLK Jr and Rosa Parks on the overhead during the readings of their lines. Therefore the lights were off so you couldn't really see your kids. But W did a very good job of reading his 3 sentences. He has really improved when it comes to speaking in front of groups. And of course we had conferences today. He has his teacher snowed. She thinks he's a great kid. His school work is right on target or just at the top of whats normal for his grade level. I think she had marked him low on reading last time because he hadn't documented reading 300 minutes for the month. Now that he has figured out he needs to write it down I think that won't be a problem anymore.
So, D was off again this Thursday. He keeps saying they tell him things will pick up soon. I sure hope so. If he's not going to get that extra day off together with his other two, he might as well average it out to 8 hours a day over 5 days. I always liked doing 4/10's, but I always had the 3 days off together. Anyway, I'll have to really make sure that I get him going on the honey do list before he gets busy at work and doesn't have the energy when he gets home...
So, now I am off to relax and see if there is anything worth watching on tonight. Hope everyone has a great week.

So you want to know about the herpes pizza?
When we went to pick up the pizza the girl at the counter the girl at the counter had the worst case of herpes on her lips I have ever seen in all my life! It was bad!! She had an anarchy tattoo to boot...so she must of been a classy gal!
We figured that since she worked the counter and didn't make the pizza we should be o.k., but I still used almost an entire bottle of hand sanitizer on the way back to the car, and we made the boys take the first bite!
